Chengdu Artificial Intelligence Association (Sichuan Province)

Chengdu Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (CAIIA) was established in June 2018. It is an independent legal person, non-profit, and the first social organization in the vertical field of artificial intelligence to complete the civil affairs filing, voluntarily initiated by enterprises and institutions related to the artificial intelligence industry, universities, research institutes, financial institutions and other organizations engaged in the artificial intelligence industry.

By the end of March 2024, the secretariat has 9 full-time staff, bringing together 158 artificial intelligence industry experts and 137 artificial intelligence academic experts, and has served more than 600 member units, and 8 units have been shortlisted for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Artificial intelligence Industry Innovation Task Disclosure list.

The goal of the association is to integrate and coordinate government, think tanks, third-party institutions and other industrial resources, learn from the experience and standards of international advanced national associations such as Europe and the United States, and serve the member units.

Improve the comprehensive management level of research and development, management, market development, operation and maintenance of member units, promote the better and faster industrial development of artificial intelligence technology, and promote cooperation among members within the industry.
