China West Connector (CWC) Partners with Sichuan Government to Lead International Technology Transfer and Global Business Expansion
On November 12, 2024, China West Connector (CWC) proudly took center stage at the prestigious Science & Technology Innovation and Global Education Governance Symposium in Chengdu, Sichuan. Representing CWC, Michail Digkas joined the official launch of the Belt and Road International Technology Transfer Alliance of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. This landmark event, attended by influential figures including Sichuan’s Vice Governor Li Wenqing, underscores CWC’s status as a designated collaborating company with the Sichuan government.
In partnership with Director Ding Jian from the Sichuan Technical Exchange Center, Michail participated in the ceremonial launch, marking a milestone in CWC’s mission to bridge Chinese and international enterprises. This newly established alliance is strategically positioned to propel Sichuan-based companies onto the global stage while actively encouraging foreign investment and partnerships within the region.
Michail engaged in discussions with key representatives from four leading companies—Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd., Chenghan Baoma Welding Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd., Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Wismed Medical Technology Co., Ltd. These meetings explored ways in which CWC could support these industry leaders in expanding their international footprint and achieving ambitious collaborative goals. Each company expressed strong interest in collaborating with CWC to expand their reach and engage in projects beyond China by connecting with Western clients.
Further solidifying its role as a pivotal connector, CWC signed a strategic partnership agreement with Director Ding Jian. This collaboration designates GPA (Growth, Prosperity, and Abundance Group) as an overseas station for the Alliance, strengthening CWC’s role in facilitating international cooperation. This partnership is a significant step toward promoting Sichuan’s companies abroad while creating streamlined pathways for foreign businesses entering the Sichuan market.
