On July 28, China West Connector (CWC) participated in a prominent international technology transfer event held at Xiamen Science City, co-organized by the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN) and Xiamen Science City, under the strong support of the Xiamen Municipal Government.
The event showcased a selective portfolio of international innovation projects from the United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, and Hong Kong, providing a platform to promote applied research, commercialization, and collaboration with local Chinese institutions, hospitals, and innovation centers.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University: Established in 1937, this comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital is Fujian Province’s leading medical institution. The hospital has earned internationally recognized accreditations such as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 and Joint Commission International (JCI), underscoring its commitment to advanced electronic medical records and global healthcare standards. Ranked consistently among China’s top 100 hospitals, it leads in clinical innovation and maintains extensive international collaborations with leading medical institutions worldwide, enabling the exchange of expertise, joint research projects, and global clinical trials to continuously enhance patient care and medical research capabilities.
Xiang An Biomedicine Laboratory: A cutting-edge biotech research center focusing on translational medicine, molecular diagnostics, and high-tech biomedical platforms. It plays a pivotal role in positioning Xiamen as a hub for innovative medical technology development.
These visits provided CWC with deep insights into the robust healthcare ecosystem in Southeast China, highlighting strong potential for international collaboration, technology localization, and joint innovation initiatives.
