CWC Collaborates with Chengdu Opening-Up and International Cooperation Center to Boost Two-Way China–Europe Cooperation

On July 23, 2025, China West Connector (CWC) held an official meeting with the Chengdu Opening-Up and International Cooperation Center, also known as the China–Europe Cooperation Centre (CCEC). The meeting was held at the Europe Center in Chengdu’s High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, a flagship location for international exchange and cooperation in Western China.

The Chengdu Opening-Up and International Cooperation Center is a government-backed platform created to promote two-way international collaboration. It plays a central role in supporting:

Foreign companies and institutions entering the Chinese market, and
Chinese companies seeking to expand abroad, particularly into European markets.

As part of Chengdu’s “Open Chengdu” strategy, the Center acts as a high-level bridge between the city’s institutions and global partners — facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI), public-private partnerships, and cross-border business development in priority sectors such as:

Technology and innovation transfer
Vocational education and talent cooperation
Green economy and smart manufacturing
Digital platforms and industrial services
Trade, sourcing, and investment facilitation

During the meeting, CWC was invited to support the Center as a consultant and expert advisor on European cooperation. The collaboration will include:

Advising Chinese companies interested in expanding into Europe
Supporting European institutions seeking strategic partnerships in China
Organizing matchmaking activities, business missions, and cooperation forums

This cooperation reinforces CWC’s position as a trusted bridge between Chinese and European stakeholders, helping both sides engage with efficiency, legal clarity, and strategic support.
